007: Sinking City 111 / Harleston Village
The skies opened up at the outset, and while this team doesn’t shy away from a decent drizzle, we had to take cover in bus shelter to wait out the ensuing gully washer. But as the saying goes, those who brave the rain, are gifted the rainbow. In these trying and turbulent times, we took the gift. We ran this day with intention, and in solidarity with our fellow humans the world over who collectively weathered one hell of a week. Onward!
Stats: Despite the 12.2 miles of streets or 17.27 miles of actual running (with repeats), Harleston Village was a touch less burdensome than the first two legs as we had longer blocks and less traffic on the streets and sidewalks. We are starting to get the hang of things - yet getting less efficient?! - go figure…
